Welcome to Shree Umiya Mataji Temple
Our Mission is to provide a platform for cultural, educational, social, religious and spiritual needs for the community. Currently Shree Umiya Mataji Temple is one of the most popular temple in the United States. With the support from you and the community, we are now building a beautiful Temple in Richmond, Kentucky. The Temple will have huge space for praying, religious discourses, religious concerts, dining facilities, classrooms and an outside playground for our children, and plenty of parking surrounded by beautifully installed landscaping. In addition to offering these services, the temple is also used to coordinate weddings, baby showers, birthdays and any other events that you wish to celebrate.

One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

Hindu religious
Hinduism is the oldest and one of the most complex of all religious systems. It is difficult to provide adequate history of Hinduism because it has no specific founder or theology. The development of this religion was influenced when light-skinned nomadic Aryan Indo-European tribes invaded Northern India BC from Russia and Central Asia attacking the Harappan people who lived there in 1500. The word, Hinduism, comes from the word, Indus, which is the name of an Indian River that existed about 5000 years ago.
Both groups adopted the beliefs of the other so they were similar in their religious doctrines. The Aryans believed in multiple gods to worship and the Harappans believed in the sanctity of fertility.
